I PROMISED I’D POST THIS YESTERDAY BUT I WAS SO INTO THE BOOK I WAS READING AND FORGOT TO POST IT. WOOPS.
At last, here’s the vacation post. It’s been more than three weeks since our return. Great job, Jay. Great job.
**Disclaimer: I’m not a photographer. I took these pictures using my phone. so please ignore the bad quality.**
The mountains directly in front of our house. I’ve been told that when winter comes, the snow covers them all, painting a picture in white for as far as your eyes can see.
The house. I have lots of great memories there.
We went to the our orchards and saw trees loaded with apples
and berries. My hands were stained red at this point.
We managed to fill all these crates and buckets! Can you believe it???
Every year we go to a spring up in the mountains. This year, my cousins and I decided to walk all the way there. We walked, jogged, and sprinted along the way up there and by the time we reached we were so tired. My throat was parched dry and my tongue felt so heavy but once I saw the water rushing out of the stones and its gurgling song filled my ears, tremendous happiness filled me and I felt like I was going to burst. I dunked my hands under the water and the water was so, so cold but I didn’t care. Slowly, ever so slowly, as to not drop any of that liquid gold from my cupped hands, I put my hands to my mouth and drank until I couldn’t drink any more. I often wonder how water so cold could flow so fast and how it could, despite its coldness, fill you with warmth and love when you drink it. I don’t have pictures of the spring because I ran to the water before my brain could process anything but I do have pictures along the way up there.
This was the view on our way back to the capital. My phone battery died because of how many pictures I took.
A few days before our traveling date, I went to this bay with my cousins
I ordered this drink. mmmmmm.
and then shared this burger with my sis. Swissnmushroom beef burger. MAJOR MMMMMMMMM.
We also went with my cousin and her husband to a river that was created when two smaller rivers met
The area was gorgeous!!! Look at those trees and clouds!! Aren’t the colors vibrant? They were 100000x more beautiful in real life. No camera can do them justice!
Us traveling back here, to where we live. The weather was so clear. I could see the faraway mountains. I could even see the buildings that were on them. The air felt so fresh and when I breathed it in, it filled my lungs with a wonderful feeling. I felt like my country wanted to show me its best before I left.
Officially off the ground. The sky was ridiculously blue, the clouds like spun sugar, and if you looked far enough, you could see the curve of the world.
