Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish

This is a Top Ten Tuesday post which originated at The Broke and the Bookish. For more topics/information about how to participate, please click here.

I suck at reading series. I don’t like having to wait ten billion years for the next book to come out but then if a series is done and has ten thousand books then that isn’t good for me either. As you can conclude, I prefer to read standalones.

Here are the completed series that I have started but not finished. Keyword is completed because if I were to mention the unfinished series I’ve read the first book of and stopped then oh boy we’ll be here for a looong time.

For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund

Ignite by Erica Crouch

Penryn & the End of Days by Susan Ee

The Dispossessed by Page Morgan

After the End by Amy Plum

Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan

I know. I know. I can’t believe this series is here, given my love and adoration for Uncle Rick. I read the first two books in two days then I got the third one and for some reason never got around to read it. I’ll have to rectify this soon.

Tairen Soul by C.L. Wilson

The Assassin’s Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis

and last but certainly not the least

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

I have my head down in shame for this. I have the last two books left, which is where the shit gets real I know, but I don’t have copies of the books and my friend was unable to lend me the last two. I’m planning on buying a box set soon (as soon as I have enough money) and I’ll get on with finishing this series.

so what do you think? any of these mentioned series are on your list too?

Hi there! I still haven’t read any of these series, sadly. 😦 Do you have any recommendation?

You may want to read my TTT, http://wp.me/p4ZhSl-bP. 

of course! if you like books about angels (though lacking the usual cliche elements) you might want to try reading Ignite by Erica Crouch. If you like pirates and assassins then The Assassin’s Curse is a good book. The Dispossessed series is really great; the male lead turns into a gargoyle! I also recommend anything and everything by Rick Riordan. Hope you enjoy!

Omg we are TWINS on the Harry Potter front! I’m down to the last 2 books too, but I’m…struggling to find motivation to finish?! I know all the spoilers anyway. *shrugs* I’m also about to start the Kane Chronicles! SO EXCITED. 😀
