OMG, Mum’s gone insane.

Not normal Mum-insane. Serious insane.

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella

FREAKING.

LOVING.

THIS.

BOOK.

It’s so, so good! It’s not a regular Kinsella book as the heroine is 14 years old but it definitely has her trademark humor. I’m also connecting to this more way more than her other books because Audrey, that’s the heroine, has anxiety and if you’ve been here for a while you’ll know I have that too. So it’s been a fun (and very eyeopening) experience to read a book where the MC is so much like me. I’m listening to the audiobook and, as you should have concluded by now, I’m enjoying it so much.

I’d say that’s a pretty good distinction to make! 🙂

I’ll have to try this author one of these days.

    Thanks for sharing!

You definitely do! She’s one of the best contemporary authors out there!

Kinsella is definitely channeling her 14-yo voice in those first lines. Love the distinction between mum insane and insane.

Sorry to hear about the anxiety. Someone close to me also deals with that.

      She definitely is!
